Martin is an Naturopathic Psychologist of international renown, known for working with clients who feel stuck in limbo with their health and wellbeing. With a special interest in ADHD and CPTSD, Martin’s approach is tailored to support a wide range of complex needs. He worked as a hospital Pharmacy Technician for over a decade before transitioning into Herbal Medicine. After graduating in 2018 from the University of Lincoln, he has been active in the Herbal Medicine industry ever since. Until recently, Martin also served as a supervisor for the Training Clinic for the Herbal Medicine Degree in Lincoln.
Case specialisation:
Martin combines a scientific and energetic approach to Herbal Medicine, practising both Physiomedicalism and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Unlike allopathic medicine, he takes a holistic approach to treatment, with consultations that are usually quite thorough, discussing every aspect of a client’s health and wellbeing.
In addition to his traditional herbal practices, Martin integrates Psychotherapeutic Herbal Medicine into his work. This approach addresses the deep-rooted emotional and psychological factors that often contribute to physical symptoms. By using herbs with specific emotional and mental health properties, Martin supports clients in processing trauma, easing anxiety, and navigating the complexities of ADHD and CPTSD. This method helps clients reconnect with their bodies and emotions, fostering a sense of inner balance and resilience.
“The scientific approach is for those who desire symptomatic treatment, usually for acute illness. The energetic approach, on the other hand, uses plants as the archetypes of our health, utilising their natural properties to heal on a synergistic level. Psychotherapeutic Herbal Medicine combines the two, helping address the mind-body connection through tailored plant remedies.”
Martin is currently accepting new clients at both his regular Riverside clinic and his International Clinics.
